PEARL Activity Grants
PLEASE NOTE: Applications for the 2018 grants are now closed – we hope to run these awards on annual basis. Thank you for your applications – we look forward to announcing and presenting these at the Public Engagement for All with Research at Lincoln (PEARL) conference on 21st March 2018.
PEARL is aiming to fund 6 new activities getting the public involved with new or existing research projects.
You could run an interactive event or demonstration at a local school (e.g. virtual reality equipment), invite a local community group to come and give their opinion on, or participate in, your research (e.g. take a survey, bring their animal to be part of animal behaviour studies, demonstrate modern agricultural techniques…), host a focus group or debate – be as innovative as you can be!
Grants are open to staff or students at the University of Lincoln, for any amount between £100 – £1000.
